Information on how to participate in the School Breakfast and Lunch Programs, Women, Infants and Child program, Food Banks in New York State, and New York States Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Assistance Program.
- myBenefits - Find out about a number of work support programs that you may be eligible for by quickly entering some basic information about you and your family.
- School Breakfast and Lunch Programs - Free or reduced cost meals served in school cafeterias.
- Women, Infants and Child (WIC) - A special supplemental food program that provides nutritious foods, milk, juice, formula and other items to low-income pregnant or breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to age 5.
- Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Assistance Program (HPNAP) - The Hunger Prevention and Nutrition Assistance Program (HPNAP) provides support to approximately 2,500 emergency food relief organizations such as food banks, food pantries, soup kitchens and emergency shelters.
- Food Banks - Food banks in your area can provide you with a list of programs to access free emergency food.
- Food Stamps - The Food Stamp (FS) Program issues monthly benefits redeemable at authorized retail food stores.
- Eat Smart New York (ESNY) - The Food Stamp Nutrition Education Program (FSNEP) is about building partnerships.
