Community Solutions for Transportation VIII (CST VIII) 2007-2008

Thirty-five (35) local department of social services were awarded CST VIII funding in accordance with 07-LCM-06 to provide transportation services to TANF eligible individuals who are employed or participating in allowable employment activities. Local districts collaborated with service providers from the public and private sectors to design a program to meet the transportation needs of TANF eligible individuals residing in their district. Services may include driver education, modified public transportation services, van pool programs, transit passes, gas cards, car repairs, license and registration fees, auto insurance and auto loan programs.
